About Crinia
Crinia is the generic name for a number of frog species common throughout Australia. Frogs have remarkable acoustic features. They can enlarge their throats to more than twice the size of their heads so that they can emit incredibly loud sounds for such a small creature. While doing this they partially block their ears as a form of echo cancellation. While we can’t emulate natures’ one billion years of fine tuning, we see it as an inspiration to continuously push the boundaries of technology and create solutions that enhance communications between people.
